Welcome to Garage Woody. This site is for the the few obsessed individuals that have the time, passion, energy to not just climb but construct an apparatus in their home for the purposes of climbing their way to peace. My initial plans existed in my brain for months, then slowly took form onto napkins, backs of prescription pads (my post it notes), and dreams. Soon to follow were hours of motionless gazing at the ceiling of my garage while laying where my vehicle should be.  The ideas came together like merging clouds coalescing into one big cloud in the sky, while some simply dissipated just as easily. Im not an artist but the whole creation felt like something inside me left me and splattered itself onto my garage ceiling...It is what it is! I realized that there are others out there like me that have gone throught the same experience and somehow found something to build and climb and get lost in. From garages,attics, to basements,  bedrooms, stairwells, and outdoor structures they have emerged like an evolutionary mutation that is revealing to us that climbing and hanging upside down was actually good for the soul and in our evolvement we only just "hang out".  So if you would like to share your creations and inspirations along with any anecdotal comments or suggestions please feel free to do so...............
